Born in Udine, after his high-school diploma and studying the piano, he attends courses and masterclasses for composers held by renowned maestros among whom F. Donatoni, Vic Nees, J. Mäntyjärvi and G. Bonato. Furthermore he pursues his studies in Gregorian chant under the guidance of professor Nino Albarosa. As a composer of vocal music he has obtained acknowledgements in national and international competitions. In the year 2007 he is awarded the IV Trophy for composition “C. A. Seghizzi” of Gorizia with the song Geburten. In the same year his composition Kyrie Eleison! is selected as finalist in the V Trophy for composition. His works have been performed by important vocal groups among which the Italian Youth Choir (Coro Giovanile Italiano) and the French National Youth Choir (Choeur National des Jeunes). In 2009 a composition has been performed by the World Youth Choir in the gala concert for the XXth anniversary of foudation.

He has conducted various vocal groups in the province of Udine where he continues to work as a choir conductor. He presides over the Commissione Artistica dell’Unione Società Corali Friulane (Artistic Committee of the Union of Friulian Choir Associations) and is a member of the Commissione Artistica dell'U.S.C.I. Friuli Venezia Giulia (Artistic Committee of U.S.C.I. Friuli Venezia Giulia). He has often been invited to participate in juries for the award of national and international Prizes in composition and performance.

Teacher of music education at various schools and institutions, is mainly concerned with basic music training.
